Man City complete transfer of Kompany
Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has boosted his defensiveoptions after the club completed a deal to sign defender VincentKompany from Hamburg for an undisclosed fee.
[table=300][tr][td] [/td][/tr][/table]The Belgium international has signed a four-year deal at Eastlands and the clubhope to complete the relevant paperwork to enable him to be available for theirBarclays Premier League clash with West Ham on Sunday.
Kompany began his career with Anderlecht before he moved to Hamburg in June2006.
The 22-year-old was involved in the Belgium side which reached the semi-finalsat the Olympic Games and becomes Mark Hughes' third major signing for the club.
