[color=blue]在從地獄般的巴拿馬監獄Sona逃出來后，Michael Scofield和Lincoln Burrows兄弟倆決定主持正義，搞倒公司，讓這個隱藏在暗處的，毀掉了兄弟倆的生活，還謀殺了Michael的摯愛Dr.Sara Tancredi的組織血債血償。在復仇的路上，當Michael得知Sara還活著時，兄弟倆意識到唯一能夠恢復到正常的生活徹底自由的辦法就是找到Sara並徹底搞垮公司。
在政府特工的幫助下，他們組建起了一只新的團隊，團隊成員包括Mahone、Sucre和Bellick以及新隊員，來一起完成這個看上去不可能完成的任務。對兄弟倆來說不幸的是他們還得想辦法招募T-bag，因為T-bag的手中掌握著對他們來說很有用的線索(很可能就是Whistler的書了)。最終他們會發現比從監獄裡逃出來更難的是如何打入敵人內部。
